Feedback from our customer: Built a cozy home for my shrimp using Best Buds air pump & a sponge filter.

Increasing the oxygen content of the water is not the only thing that Best Buds aquarium air pumps can do. They also can drive the combo sponge filters, and then you can filter the water, cultivate nitrifying bacteria, create water flow and increase the oxygen content of the water at the same time. Recently, a research that published on thelancet.com found that the coronavirus can survive on the outer layer of mask for 7 days [1]. This is a huge caution to our daily personal protection during this pandemic.

This new coronavirus mainly transmitted through droplet and contact. Your mask helps you keep the droplet out. But you may still be infected through contact.

Remember, do not touch the outer layer of the mask that is being used or used!

Because the touching will contaminate your hand, and if you touch your face, eyes, nose or mouth, you may be infected. The researcher said, this result showed, wearing and taking off mask correctly were very important.

The research also found that the coronavirus was more stable on smooth surfaces. The virus can still be detected on the surface of stainless steel and plastic after 4 days. And the experiment result showed that the virus can survive on the banknote for 2 days.[1]

We recommend,

  1. Wash hands frequently, don’t touch your face, eyes, nose and mouth before cleaning.
  2. Don’t touch anything in public if unnecessary.
  3. Disinfect the household items regularly.

Last, don’t touch the outer layer of the mask, otherwise, don’t complain about its quality if you are injected.

Maintaining physical social distancing, shorten psychological distance

Droplet and contact are the two main modes of transmission of the COVID-19 virus. The core of personal protection is maintaining social distancing. Keep away from dense crowd and avoid parties are the important precaution.

Avoid physical contact including handshake when meet others and keep one meter from each other. Because when someone sneeze or cough, the virus-borne droplets will splash into the air, then the virus will transmit to around people through these droplets.

The physical distance is pulled apart, it doesn’t mean we’re alienated from each other. We should be united and help each other, stop all the discrimination. The disease is our common enemy. It will be beaten finally only we unite together all over the world.

As Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General, World Health Organization (WHO) said,

COVID-19 is reminding us how vulnerable we are, how connected we are and how dependent we are on each other. In the eye of a storm like COVID, scientific and public health tools are essential, but so are humility and kindness. With solidarity, humility and assuming the best of each other, we can – and will – overcome this together.

Will the package spread coronavirus? Is it necessary that spray 75% alcohol over it?

The risk is very low. In the dry environment, the coronavirus only can survive very short time, sometimes couple hours, in general, one or two days. So, the probability is so low that the virus is still alive when you touch the package.

One suggestion: open the package, take out the items, and then throw away the box immediately, and don’t forget to wash your hand.

It’s useless that spray alcohol over the package. If you do the sterilization and get psychological comforting, that is important to you.

How to do protection when use public elevators?

First of all, maintaining social distancing is very important. But it is hard to do in the elevators, because of space limitation. We recommend that wear the face masks in this situation whether you’re sick or not. This is active defense. Because you never know whether the guys you meet are infected or not.

The buttons in the elevators are not all safe. We recommend that cover your finger by tissue before press the buttons. When you go out, don’t touch your face, nose and mouth before washing your hands.
